  1. I have tried updating my firmware as well, didn't seem to do anything to help though.
  2. Yep I have wireless phones, but I've had my router since I've moved here and also the phones (which was about a year ago) and this only started happening 2 days ago. Also, how would I go about checking the power supply to see if that's the cause?
  3. Hey guys, for the past few days strange things have been happening with my router and its affecting my connectivity quite often. A few times an hour the router will "restart" itself, I'm saying this because the orange light thats on turns off and the little green power light flickers until it starts back up again. This is really annoying because I lose my connection for about a minute, and I have no idea on what could possibly be the problem. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Router: WRT54G v5

Unfortunetly I couldn't get it to even make a connection to the net using the modem directly, I will try it again tomorrow I just didn't want to keep you waiting until I figured out what was wrong.   9. How would I go about doing so trying out TCP Optimizer? Just input all the fields from Cablenut to the TCP Optimizer fields while on "Custom Settings?"? Or would you suggest I try something else?

To answer your questions, Yes I'm using a router and it is wireless, but I also tried doing a direct connection to my PC from the modem and I got the same slow results as I was getting previously.

Ok well the DefaultReceiveWindow was 128480, but just to see if it makes any difference to the registry once I reboot I changed TcpWindowSize, GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize and DefaultSendWindow to 128480 and this is the result I got now: TCP options string = 020405b40103030101010402 MTU = 1500 MTU is fully optimized for broadband.   15. Nothing that I know is running that would protect against registry changes. When I first posted I got these results: Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 17520 RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits Unscaled Receive Window = 17520 and now they are (with using the ccs files) Default TCP Receive Window (RWIN) = 64240 RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits Unscaled TCP Receive Window = 64240 is there any way I can check if the values really are in the registry?
