thanks for all your help mate
-
just doin anti malware first mate, then i will use that file
-
what do you mean mate? i downloaded the new driver, installed it all the way till it tryed to connect to the internet, then it wouldnt work, had an icon for new set up and old set up, tryed connecting to the net both ways and neither worked
-
went into safe mode exactly like you said, pc restarted then i tryed to connect to the net this popped up
could not create entry ("""+Tesco Broadband+""")
-
downloading the driver thing, installed it but it couldnt connect to the internet, then i couldnt get on the internet at all, even through the way i had been doing it, i had to restore pc as it wouldnt work, i will try to tests in safe mode.
-
doin it as we speak getting speed of 58.9kb/sec
-
sorry trogers what site? is it www.XP 64bit or Driver upgrade for XP.com?
-
i just installed the cd then broadband worked, didnt do anything else, i turned pc on in safe mode with networking but it wouldnt let me connect to the internet at all.
-
modem says thomson speedtouch330 on it on it
-
im connected to 1meg braodband, with tesco braodband, i use internet explorer to connect to the internet, i will try restarted in safe mode and doing a speed test mate, back in a minute.
-
is there anything else i can do?
-
with firewall, from sweeden, il be back in half hour please post what i should do now, many thanks guys
