  1. What determines optimal route? Switches that route client based on their load and clients location? If you are trying to access server in Australia today and experiencing 5x times slower rate could you connect tomorrow again and exprience no slowdowns because you are now routed through little loaded switch?
  2. I am also testing internal ISP network and home LAN and wireless network and wondered if TestMy offers something for this. I can test ISP network but through SpeedTest.net which is limited in functionality. Same with home LAN and wireless network. In these both cases I have limited amount of data to test against with SpeedTest.net. Interesting. I had 5 test runs of 200MB each from UK to Israel and speed almost matched if not actually matched what my ISP offers. However after I did same with US Dallas server, the speed dropped 3-5 fold. Something with peering or under-surface sea mediterranian cable leading to US? I wonder how that would be with other ISP... Maybe I can compare it with other local users who did same?
  3. Thanks for link but I haven't found option to set it to unlimited data test or at least re-test every 30 seconds automatically.
  4. Hello. I wanted to know if there's possibility to set bandwidth data test to indefinite or set time for how long I want to test. Is this possible? I need to test equipment and connection for a few hours both downstream and upstream. Thanks
