Verizon DSL on a linksys Wireless B router (BEFSW11s4). Spyware was dealt with thanks to some other forums and a recent problem - I currently use S&D, Ewido, Spyware Guard, and Mcafee.

Connection is:: 694 Kbps about 0.7 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB)

Download Speed is:: 85 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 12X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 12.05 sec

Tested from a 1496 kB file and took 17.646 seconds to complete

I live in a very small suburban area. What steps can I take? I have the exact same Verizon DSL connection at my business in the next town and it is about 5 times faster!
