Hope that they get your signal strength right before they leave. It needs to be around -9 db

I bought one a few months ago.I really like it.The battery charge last several days at a time.

I'm sure that you will have to have the previous owners to call in to cancel their account or DWAY probably won't activate it in your name.
I can't help you with the settings.

I'm in Southeast Missouri. The remnants are supposed to move through here. We are under a flash flood watch with 4 to 8 inches or more expected and a high wind advisory all day Monday. We need a slow soaking rain for the Farmers but not that much.

I use a router on a seperate NIC for my home network. RR connects directly to the onboard NIC and I don't share the net connection with the network. I disable Norton's for the tests. I don't run IM's or keep file-sharing programs running. I used the 8000/512 Cablenut tweak.

The techs say our RR service runs best with -9db going into the modem. They got mine there by using 3 traps
-
I do know that the traps cut down on the power going to the cable modem. They added two inside my house inline to the modem and the speed really increased.

I'm beginning to wonder if my local TW office is ever going to offer it. They have the business class, but not premium yet.

Testmy & Cablenut are the best help I ran accross.
Get RR Tomorrow Morning!!!!!!!!
