As a DMAX/PRTC customer you should be used to this yearly crap. They have some internal routing problems they don't even know where to fix, as it happens after the last hop from them, but from outside to the island happens on the hops in here, not where it starts for us to outside. I'm personally packing going with PRW as ISP using PRTC's lines. Heard there's no lag on their systems, we'll see.

You must be very close to the central office to get such speeds. PRTC caps their speeds at exactly the advertised speed, they don't compensate. So I'll just attribute those extra 123kbps to a burst on your internet speed, even though, I have my doubts.

He's very disliked by all the people he banned without justification, so it might... I know they are watching this thread, I don't know if he is. I read these forums just don't need to post, I already participate in over 10 forums... I think that's enough for poor little me but I just thought I'd post here since those prices are the official and anybody saying that those speeds in DMAX that cheap are lying.

Now to deviate the topic to it's original and intended discussion, that guy is either cheating or lying. Those are not the rates for such speed. These are the prices and speeds advertised (Spanish): DMAX One (256/128): $24.95 DMAX Experience (512/256): $39.95 DMAX Generation (1024/512): $59.95 DMAX Extreme (2048/512): $84.95

$24.95 is the lowest plan which is 256kbps down and 128kbps up, no way you get 2mbps for $25. Xtremo? you killed it yourself buddy.
