  1. I signed with Verizon with a Cradlepoint Router and USB727 adapter from 3gstore.com Speeds 1500Kbps up to 2500Kbps with NO 200 mb FAP Does have 5GB monthly limit, Have not exceeded it so far, .20 cents per mb over the 5GB monthly I am completely satisfied with Verizon and told Hughes to stick it where the sun doesn't shine :::.. 2. Download and install Free Download manager http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ Start download then stop it and Schedule it for 3 am and leave your computer on all night. Hughesnet has a 3 hr period from 3am to 6 am that does not go against FAP time. I downloaded a 1350 mb update in the 3 hr period and it did not subject me to FAP. If Wild Blue has a free download time it will work.
  3. The Hughes tech has came and gone and as you can see the upload speed is no better than yesterday. He did replace the reciever on the dish as it was marginal and causing the lockups and transmission stops, It does work better but still slow as it was before he came. Waiting for a call from Brighthouse, If they cannot make it here I will be going back to dialup and save $50.00 a month. Ouch! You must be on dialup or something. :::.. 4. This is the kind of service i have been getting from Hughes, Installer will come tomorrow and see what he can do for me, It has been this way for 9 months off and on. Uploads have been 6 to 21 kbs for the past week. I have only seen 1 upload test over 100 kbs since i sighed up with hughes slowband. Going back to dialup if things do not improve tomorrow, My commitment is up. :::..
