My dual dialup was 9X faster

and 11kbps faster than my non-faped satellite(i got 77kbps max)

kind of, 128k ISDN would run circles around it though for web browsing for the most part(theres alot of small sites like testmy.net where ping counts)

if your game is freezing(and not losing connection) its probably because your ping time exceeded 2000. if it does, then it times out and cancels it basically, so your player wont do anything. if it happens more than once, itll seem like a lag spot. its not suprising, because with a initial delay of about 700 because of satellite thne the fact it has to go through ENGLAND game servers i wouldnt be suprised if it happend quite a bit.

random speed test, I figure it's fast enough to where there isn't any point to making it faster, since most sites I only get like 150-300k/sec on most sites on average anyway- maybe one in 100 allow full speed.

Got 15/2 installed today, I guess it's abit below 15 but they used a line that they thought wouldn't work AT ALL(used a line that has distance of like 150-200 feet for a 250 foot distance) so i'd say it's pretty good. they'll do a new line probably next week maybe it'll be up to 15 then.

upload is good at around 2.1mb, to lazy to do another one to post stats but it can be found in my history somewhere.

You said 143Kbytes, which is about 1100Kbits, whereas they advertise 700Kbits for the home package and 1000Kbits for pro, if you have one of them then your getting over the speed they claim,  so I couldn't see any reason to say it's slow.

if you meant 143Kbits, then yeah thats VERY slow and you should in that case get something done about it.

since I dont know which you mean, when you download a file does it go at 143k/sec on the transfer rate?

143 K bytes is like 1000+ bits which sounds about right on home/pro plans (they advertise 700/1000? I beleive)
