not sure if you ever recevied help, but I've been worried about my Verizon FIOS service (supposedly 15M down / 2 M up) - the issue is my Linksys wrtp54g router. Linksys tried to get me to upgrade my firmware to 1.00.37, but my version is 1.00.62 which only Vonage supports. Vonage said they were aware of the issue and that this linksys router has throughput issues. It was developed before such high broadband speeds. After 2 hours escalating my call w/ Linksys they agreed to replace the router with WRT54GP2.
Speed frustrations with Comcast (6MB plan) please give advice!
