I'm trying to fix the upload speed in my job's network. It's really giving us a huge problem. What can we do to speed up our upload? Here are the results from the upload test: :::.. I have no idea how u guys are getting such great scores. I recently re-formated my hard drive and started from scratch. I ran all the regular programs such as ant-virus, spyware, adware, window washer, registry cleaner, etc. Then I downloaded cablenut and applied the appropriate patch. My connection STILL SUCKS!!! My uploads are fine but my downloads are horrible and I don't know why. Can anyone give me some advice please? :::.. My version of Windows IS legite. And another thing I just noticed is that my system32 folder is missing! How would that happen?

I have cmd prompt in my programs/accessories and I am using XP Pro. I recently reformated my hardrive and started from scratch. Now I'm having a bunch of problems. The ping test is 1 problem. Another problem is that when I try to run windows update, my download freezes when I try to update to SP2.

My friend has RCN and I haven't seen a faster internet connection than that. Too bad it's not offered in my neighborhood b/c I'd switch in a heart beat.

I used to be able to run a ping test just fine. When I try to do it now, It says the system is not suitable for running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications. What can I do to correct this?

I live in NYC and I have Road runner. There's been so many issues with RR one after the other. At the moment, they're having issues with Level3. Can anyone suggest an good ISP that doesn't use Level3 for peering?

If anyone is in the NYC area then they should know what I'm talking about. Does anyone know if there's a way to go around the whole Level3 issue? My connection really sucks because of Level3.

Road Runner has finally gotten on my last nerve. I hate this ISP. I'd rather have a 56k modem. I don't know if many of you have heard, but RR is having Issues with Level3. The connection just keeps getting worse. If RR doesn't take care of this problem soon, I am going to switch service providers. Does any one know of any GOOD service providers in the NYC area?

I HATE RR!!! It used to be good like a year ago. It really sucks now. People say it's because of a Level3 issue. Is there anything I can do to speed up my download time other than the stuff that everyone knows to do like spy-ware, ad-aware, etc.. I need help and I'm desperate. Should I just change my ISP?
