  1. Do you have any further suggestions? MDV_Forever
  2. Well, it does not look good to me. I'm still hovering in the 76-78% of my cap! Would the "DSL PPPoE 3000 768.zip CCS file help in my case? I saw a post where the file looked liked it help that person who had the same cap as mine. I would like to give it a try. MDV_Forver

  6. Hello and thanks for the responce, Here is the link to my last test, http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:2666353?service=dsl&speed=1.5&os=win98SE&via=normal I reinstall the speedguide tweak for win98sepppoe Also my connection went down and i was able to speak to a line tech and he told me that because of the limitation of the 1.5mb that I subscribe to that i would not get any speeds faster than 1.1 or 1.2mb. To get any faster I would have to subscribe to the 3mb level and then i would only get about 2.5mb because of the tcp, atm overhead However, if you know how to get me to 1.3-1.5 i would be very happy indeed!
  7. Not reaching 90% of advertised speed of 1.5mb MAx only reaching 80% 1.2mb I was using RoadRunner cable modem and was getting speeds of more than 2.5mb I just switched over to SBC-Yahoo DSL to save some cash each month. I'm hoping I can get to at least 1.5 or more so your help is appreciated!! Shields Ups Port Authority Edition Internet Vulnerability Profiling grc.com Test Results: Your Internet port 139 does not appear to exist! One or more ports on this system are operating in FULL STEALTH MODE! Standard Internet behavior requires port connection attempts to be answered with a success or refusal response. Therefore, only an attempt to connect to a nonexistent computer results in no response of either kind. But YOUR computer has DELIBERATELY CHOSEN NOT TO RESPOND (that's very cool!) which represents advanced computer and port stealthing capabilities. A machine configured in this fashion is well hardened to Internet NetBIOS attack and intrusion. Unable to connect with NetBIOS to your computer. All attempts to get any information from your computer have FAILED. (This is very uncommon for a Windows networking-based PC.) Relative to vulnerabilities from Windows networking, this computer appears to be VERY SECURE since it is NOT exposing ANY of its internal NetBIOS networking protocol over the Internet. I have ALL of the latest Windows 98SE Updates! MDV_Forever
