Yes I think Charlton Heston is probably one of if not the best actors in our lifetime(mine at least) and he had the right IDEA about the NRA and gun ownership. hard not to get away from the topic at hand after certain comments were made in this thread. I have yet to see a gun or any other  weapon get up by itself and hurt or kill someone or something, It allways requires someone to use it, I personally believe in the Second Amendment wholeheartedly.  Outlaw guns and only outlaws will have guns. nuff said. Not sure if i have the right forum. I am currently using the DW6000. But i am trying to buy a DW4000 on ebay. If i happen to win it would i be able to use it instead of the DW6000? If i can then i will buy it if not then i will just let it go. Any help would be appreciated.

I just had my experience with FAP last month. I was trying to download a l.7 gig game from fileplanet. It woul haul but until it got to about 170 100 meg. Then it slow to a trickle about 3 to 5 kbytes. I would have to completely stop the downlkoad and not do anything for 4-6 hours then it would do the same thing, I did not know about the FAP until someone in Tech Support nmed Habib (but you my cll me Robert) told me. a couple of minutes before that it was 60 kbps. too bad it doesn't stay this good all day. but when u live in the boonies. it is better than dial up.

Thanks for the info. I just got off the line with tech support and that was exactly what he told me also. I was trying to download a 1.7 gig file and after 200 megabytes it cut me off to a trickle. so i guess i will have to do this a little at a time. sheesh. sure wish there was cable out here in the boonies. thanks again for the help

The thing is it does it it with web pages and anything i download. i just checked my speed about 5 min ago and i clocked about 733 Kb down and now it is about 10. The problem is in the inconsistency of the speed.

Sounds like everybody has the same problem. My problem is that when i start a download from FilePlanet. it starts out at over a 100k download then it drops like a rock after a minute or so to 3-5k. then it stays like that unless i pause it and wait for awhile before resuming. This problem has just started recently. I have tried the TCPOptimizer. to no avail. So does anybody else have this problem ? I would appreciate any help.
