what's the problem with destiny the last few days? DNS? international connection?

my speed is sooooo slow. it started only the other day. I use to get 2.1 Mbps.

hi guys. am sure you heard about the quake that took place somewhere between taiwan and philippines, before end of the year. well that was the reason most of us from manila could not connect nor test our link because internet was sooooo slow.

I think there were 6 submarine cables that were cut.

Well, i tested my connection today, and it is still slower (~50KBps), than pre-quake.

Hope the speed gets back to normal or better.

am from mandaluyong area and have complained that SNR is below 30dB, I think there is too much noise preventing me from achieving desired speed.

I have the same ISP and I had the tech come over and check why SNR is below 30dB. Signal never is somewhere 26-29dB but never reaches 30dB. I read that signal should be at least 30.

Could this be our problem?
