  1. It looks as if some cablenut tweaks have raised my download back to normal, maybe even higher speeds. I guess the only problem I have now is to fix the connection problems. ;/
  2. btw It's a Belkin router and I had one typo. Results from network test: -When connection dies. Internet Connection Not Connected Your Network OK Wireless Security Off
  3. Router: Wireless G Plus MIMO Router Version: 3100 Model #: F5D9230-4 Firewall: Sygate Personal Firewall Pro #1 Hey guys, Yesterday I bought a router so I could play my 360 on live and be online at the same time (wired connection). Since I started using it, my internet has been acting weirdly. The only thing I changed in the settings was to turn UPNP off so I could join my friends Halo2 games. It shows my internet connection as off. It doesn't allow me to start new connections (mozilla, new downloads, etc.) but my downloads (or AIM, MSN) that I had going when the connection dies continue to keep acting normally. It's rather annoying and happens 1-2 times every 30min. To fix the problem I have to restart the modem which is beginning to be a hassle . Results from network test: -When connection dies. Internet Connection Off Your Network OK Wireless Security Off Network Connections: #2 My download/upload speeds are suffering. ..:::testmy.net test results:::.. My download is usually around 13-15Mb and my upload never hesitates to go up to 190kbs on bitcomet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

  6. Hey guys . I've been learking around this site quite a lot and thought I'd try to get some help. :] Well I got my 15/2mb from Cox a few days ago, the first couple days I got the connection I was going about 10mbs on the tests here, but now I go around 4-5. :/ I can get around 2mb/s with Reget (downloading large files), but I was wondering if I could do better without any accelerators. I set the TCP Optimizer to the 15mb speed, I was gonna try cablenut, but I had no idea what was going on, lol. btw, does it matter if you use an ethernet or a usb cable? Thnx.
