Hit or miss if it will improve, more toward the miss side. I would save the cash as you would be better off with out the upgrade.

They need to stop lying to everybody and list that speed as big cities currently. Because there is no place around here that is even hitting above 3 meg and that is in cities only. It's dialup or crapillite around here.

I too get to join the Death To Hughes Club, Alltel has wireless around here and I got it today. Not too bad for $10 less the Hughes and it actually works unlike Hughes and is WAY faster in the browsing of webpages!

What's sad it that it about twice as fast as our old dial up here. I couldn't get over 24Kbps for speed and downloads never peaked above 3 kB/s
