Yes I have a Router. It doesn't matter, and in fact I don't even bother talking about it. Even if I remove it like the Techs at RoadRuner tell me to remove it for tests, it still does not fix their problems. Today it looks like - in the last couple of hours- they fixed some problems on their end. It's a mess, but the whole network is in meltdown! I am not going through calling them again, that is the most worthless thing that can be done. They were out here a few weeks ago, they can only cut ends off cables and reboot my computer. Nothing ever chages. They are in meltdown at RoadRunner ! Just imcompetent idiots running it! RoadRunner = LIARS ! the Network is intermittent and slower than a freking glacier!

Miserable Crappy scumbag RoadRunner... Thsi damned lawsuit that was filed against TW/RR better ream their arses... They stil refuse to fix their damned computers. If you call them they blame your computer. No point in even calling these dirtbags, They get my $115.00 per month. I am just very angry for 6 months of really bad Internet service. Those that cannot get another cable or DSL Internet service are screwed.

This information is wrong. I live in San Diego County. I get about 3600/360 maybe you copied it off their website, but it is full of lies. I have TW/RR and have talked to them over the packages just a week or two ago. There are no changes. I have both Cable TV and RaodRunner Internet with them. I live in a high priced area full of retireees, and old people who don't use the Internet, or if they don't. not many do at all, so there are no people in my area that I know that I can ask how there RoadRunner is working. I have to rely on interaction on forums. Most of the people on forums don't live anywhere close to me. I would think that since there are not many people using it in my area, my speeds would increase. Less people sucking bandwith. The tech told me that all this. He said, those with speeds over 5000/384 are paying for premium speeds. That's not what I hear. I hear that those getting the newer speeds up to like 8000/512 or even higher do not pay extra. But, maybe it's just in San Diego North County Coastal the tech was referring too. In any case, for some reason I am only getting 77% of the average bandwith. On the bright side, it's working.

The tech cut off most of the cable connections starting from the street cable box and moving into the house. Put new cable connectors in the attic too. Picked up up to 6 db of signal strength I was loosing. It looks much better now. The speeds are stil at 3900/364. He said thats our speeds in this area. Only way to get faster speed is to pay for higher speeds. See how long this is going ot last, I hope no more trouble for a very long time. Also checke don Cable TV packages. Stil on Adelphia Cable Packages in my area. Gotta wait tunil the Time Warner packages replace the Adelphia Packages my area is still on.

TigerDirect are theives! If you try to get a rebate they lie and say you didn't send them a UPC from the packages, and even if you clear that up by faxing a copy of the one you sent them, they still drag their asses and months go by waiting for your rebates. They are crooks!

A TW / RR Tech is coming out to my house to find out why the ping is so bad... They verified ther eis a problem with bad pings...
