Hey guys, I'm just wondering how much difference it will make by upgrading to the M1000 which I will be receiving shortly in the mail. I know that modems to support a certain amount of speed and I see that the M1000 can have 25 down and 1up. I wasbasically wondering if anyone had upgraded to this new modem and can tell me if it helped and by how much. Thanks

ever since I joined this "testmy" site there have been fucking spammers spamming every little thread I make and its getting on my nerves. PLEASE ADMINS* make a punishment for spamming... one week ban from site or from being able to login? 2 weeks if 2nd time for spamming and 2 months if 3rd? idk.

This is for DSL and I was also wondering which one would be best for my location which is NE Iowa and I also know that its available... all I'm wondering is which will I get the best speed becuase from what I hear, the location of the Central offices does matter. Well.... I really don't know whats wrong with the 8800GTS but I know for a fact that the 8800GTS gets more FPS then 250 even on a higher res then 1024 by 1080 or w/e because one of my friends have and AMD x2 I think its the 4800 and he gets around 700 FPS for an average mark with BF2 CSS HALO and OBLIVION is around 580 evrg, and plays many other games. I donno if its ur Intel or what... theres no way u should have only 250 (LIES!)

well... you can watch TV record listen to radio all that stuff with my card and I play CSS and halo btw. and with that 8800 that u have.. LOL!

well... I get over 250 frames in games btw... I really think it should be more then that..... also easily overclockable 100mhz easily.

I was wondering if overclocking somthing would help any also.

I have Qwest internet and I have tried all the cable nut settings out and even made some custom ones but all of them stayed pretty much at around the same down/upload speeds. I really don't know why I'm not even getting close to there 7mb/s down and there 856 or w/e upload speed even though I have that package. Can anyone please help me out with this? Accually I have both available for my desktop. I am running on Cat5 which to my extent I think is the fastest out there for a line for DSL. I also can have wireless on at the same time but currently I have wireless disabled on my gaming lounge 4300 Router.
