well i had it setup perfect on the linksys (which was new when moved in) but after a day or so teh internet wouldnt work at all with it being static ip. this is why i bought the splitter so i could use the belkin

I have a cable INTERNET connection and just moved into this house with some friends. the router that they have is a cheap belkin but i cant get it to work with a static ip so i can host on warcraft 3. i have a linksys router which i then bought a ethernet splitter and when connected the connections are visable but nothing happens. was looking for some answers lippy
