Yes, it came with vista(i will never again put vista into a computer, especially a computer with only 80GB,lol, i learned my lesson, but this isnt that computer). It says i have 1,014 MB of RAM. I have a HP Pavilion, Windows Vista Home Premium, Intel® Core2 CPU. Do you need any more info? And also, thanks for all of this information And also, my virus detector thing is Norton Anti Virus, and my spyware thing is called Spysweeper, both fairly good

no, its on the computer desk right next to the screen. my computer doesn't have any video cards, that i know of,lol. Do all computers have video cards?(sorry if thats a stupid question). Wouldn't i have to have a lot of games to use a lot of my RAM though, or does vista suck it all up or something? I used a can of air maybe about 2 weeks ago and opened ot up and cleaned it also. I also turned it off when i was done with it tonight so i can see what it does tomorrow.

Hello. I got a new computer about maybe 5 months ago. And of course it has Windows Vista. But i see that if im doing i think a minimal of things on it, my computers screen likes to go black, about 5 minutes ago i was listning to iTunes and surfing the internet with Mozilla Firefox, and i tryed to scroll down the page but i realized it was frozen, then the screen went blank. I pushed control+alt+delete and it took a bit but that page came up for task mannager and other stuff, then i pushed cancel but firefox was frozen. This has happened planty of times, i dont know how to fix it. This computer doesnt have any games or anything, everybody in the house pretty much has their own computer for themselves. I have an Intel cor 2 duo processor, so doesnt that mean my computer can handle more at a time. This is computer is constantly left on also so could it be overheating? Thanks!

Are you sure it doesnt increase download speeds? Because when i had Dial-Up i would download something(it took seceral hours) It got to 50% and then always skipped to 100%, so it seemed that the accelerator cut down the download time. Broadband is much better now though

Whoh, that strange for you guys. I guess i have newer cables or something because after they sent me the config file i mostly get these speeds i used to get like 7,500down and 400up, but then we asked them about the speed(since we were supposed to get a faster speed with the VIP deal) and they sent the config file. im lovin our speed now im not sure why its slower for you guys though...

The top speed i have ever gotten when i had dial-up was like 42Kbs or something. Its to bad your not avaliable for cable or dsl though! I know how much of a pain dial-up is, never want to go back either If your desperate you can pay anhwere from $60-$100 a month for satelite internet

Had to call my cable company to push the config file through, now everything works great!(speed is in my signature) Although i bet theres people out there that have a way faster speed. Whats you internet speed?

Well, today my internet has been acting strange. I do speed tests frequently, i usually get 7,500, arounf there, earlier i got around 6,200 i did it again after it and got around 7,500. Websites have been loading slower to, downloads seem to be working ok. This also happens on my computer upstairs to, my computer upstairs connects wirelessly through my wireless router(duh), and its been acting strange also. I go to speedtest.net and upstiars its starts at like 2,000 and sometimes gets to 7,000, and the ms ping on the test has been outragous. i usually get around 65(i click on the reccomened one every time,chicago) and upstiars today i got as high as 900, and downstairs i got around 250, im not sure what an ms ping is but i dont think it can be good if its that high. does anybody know the solution to this? is it my wireless router or cable modem? thanks
