heres my newest sig im making to replace my current one because its a smaller filesize (i havent even bothered compressing it yet ) but it still obviously needs a lot of work and organizing... just thought id show u guys.

2. Cox 5 Mbps advertised speed (just checked the cox website)

3. No tweaks

4. Speeds are above in first post

5. no lan protocols

6. no lan buttons checked

7. connected from ethernet

8. tried the powercycle thing

ok, im pretty sure ur all wrong on this; (if not, go with the virus thing). i have the same problem with ie. i havent bothered to try and fix it, but i think u can just disable the information bar and pray for the best. the new activex controls are because of the new ie sp2 update, so if it really bothers u and cant fix it, u may as well downgrade back to sp1. sp2 isnt that great anyway...

also try spybot. spybot and adaware were voted best antivirus cleaners when used together i think. woooo lets go adaware with its awesome adwatch!

yea but i havent tweaked it yet so im thinking its got potential. and i only wanted advice for my download speed because it isnt all that constant. like in the tests, usually ill go above the cap or have like 130 or 110, but when im actually downloading a file itll start at like 600 then start falling and settle at 300 or so. its not a real huge problem, but its a really annoying one...

dude that would rule! we should have speed contests and stuff here! lol, i wouldnt want to embarrass u guys tho

hmm i didnt know spiders counted as guests... lol i think the auto log in is probably a good explanation cuz sometimes ill be the only one logged in with like 30 guests then ill post and two minutes later someones logged in and replied... happens all the time; its freaky.

i dont get what all u guests do... theres always like 30 guests and like 4 registered users on... what do the guests do- just read our posts? my bro does that, but at a news forum where he can read updated news and stuff so i get y he wouldnt want to post there, but here? i'm just so clueless right now...

what kind of phoneline filter?

650 tests? wow i probably dont even have 50! but thats cuz i dont like seeing my upload cuz it depresses me and i always go above the test cap and get an error for dl. lol if everyone had 650+ tests, after awhile ud probably need a better server CA3LE

what antivirus prog do u have? i have trend micro and i havent gotten a virus since. well, zone alarm, peer guardian, ad-aware/ad-watch, spyware blaster, and spybot probably help too.

i say just downgrade to sp1. there might be some easier solution but thats what i'd do.

np, not only was it fun, but it was good practice i still havent found a good quality meatwad pic (they all seem to be either too small or too low quality to repair for an amateur to intermediate "photoshopper" like me) but im still looking!

o, and if you could, try and find a good meatwad pic because i couldnt find many good ones, and if you can find one where meatwad is saying your quote bout the sippy cup, then i could put your quote in there too. i dont really know what that looks like cuz im not much of an athf fan.

right-click the image>>properties>>copy and paste the url listed into the tags. and ill probably do the meatwad one tomorrow; i havent found a good pic and i have a bunch of homework that i just remembered so ill have to start it tomorrow. and also, photoshop really isnt that tough; you just have to read a few tutorials to learn the basics.

no problem. ill try and find a cool meatwad pic. and to put images in your signature use the tag, then the url of the pic, the put a forward slash before the img].

here's my first one ive made for ya, but i found another cool pic so if u ever get bored with this one, ull have another. also, i tried everything i could to keep the filesize down, but 22kb was as far down as i could go while still making it look good. enjoy:
