1&2. attached are the programs and processes, by the way im using vista

3. first try, im using a different firewall.. but i have deactivated it since yesterday, but my speed is still the same

4. i have a router, but i have also tried it directly connecting to the DSL

5. extensions are mainly for phone lines, the pldt who installed the DSL said that the data will be slower since we have multiple extensions

hi.

checking on the screenshot, i found out that your computer is infected by the ravmon virus

follow steps given below and you will be free from Ravmon.exe virus.

1. Confirm that you have ravmon.exe virus. Right-click on any drive, if you see invalid characters in the menu, you are infected.

2.You have stop the process of virus,go to Task Manager(Ctrl+Alt+Del), go into Processes tab and find the progam named "SVCHOST.EXE", there will few more svchost in small case but you have to terminate the one which is written in CAPS, if you see more than one

1. when you've accessed your homepage, click Tools, then AP evaluation.

2. look at the bottom of the page and click Rescan AP

3. look for a good AP. one that has a low jitter (preferably 1 to 4) and a high RSSI (preferably 500+). when you have done that, take note of its color code.

4. now click Configuration, then click Radio. Enter the color code of your selected AP where it says "Color Code"

5. click "Save Changes" then click "Reboot".

there's only one way to find out and that is to try them both side by side

measure the actual distance, including the curves/contours between your computer and the canopy antenna and buy a cable. before you leave the store, ask the shop tech to connect the RJ 45 to it.

L4L:  I am no geek but for my money the Acer is by far the better of these two.

        Put the specs. side by side and the Acer is better.  Better contrast ratio

        and 3yr Warranty.  Also better connectivity.

your canopy sm is locked and not on a "roaming" status. unfortunately, it is only the smartbro "higher" tech team can change the status to "roaming", which if activated, will allow you to roam or change access points (color codes).

i have a question.

why is it my speed is still the same after I did all the tweakings in my canopy (a week ago). ??

i'm soooo pissed off I can't watch youtube videos SMOOTHLY anymore but I'm wondering why I've just experienced it now since my speed (300+ according to [this.site.has.been.blocked.for.spamming]) now is the same as the speed during those 3 months of my subscription. what d'you think guys ? is it because of a virus ? but I am done scanning my pc and it says no problem at all.

i'm getting pissed off as in really pissed off for 2 weeks now.
