I've used ESET NOD32 Antivirus for many years.It isn't bloated (resource hog) or paranoid,as some of the before mentioned.Yet it is very effective.

Yeah,it really depends on how many peers are in the swarm.Recently,I've been uploading torrents,and if I have more than 5 peers during initial seeding,it runs about 172 kB/s.Avg. U/L. As an afterthought,I'm going to D/L the 1.6 for comparison sakes.Peace.
