  2. hi a7v8mx i see u got a problem there. im a fellow globelines user too. can i ask how long u been using their service? and is it like that the first time they install it?my speed was fine then after the installation but after a month i got some serious problems with the slow downs. it took me awhile to find a solution to this problem.since we have dynamic ip's it always changes once we unplug or turn off our router. what i notice (from months of experimenting) is that there are some ip's that do give fast connection speeds. i dunno if it will work for you but u can give it a try. her

  5. same prob i encounter with smartbro then. just give it a few days and maybe ur conn will return to normal. even if u call their "customer assistance" they will just tell u the usual thing i.e. ping this,ping that, delete cookies, update every other progs in ur pc etc.,maybe in 2-3 days ur conn will normalize, just be patient. im not. i switch to globe :grin2:
  6. ive called smartbro cs time and again, they always tell me they will send somebody here (1 week tom and nobody showed up) and im very frustrated with the way they treat their CUSTOMERS. i lost my patience and the wife already applied for globelines broadband (am very thankful there is a slot available now). smartbro techs that always come to visit me ruined my roof, and my ceiling which costs me a lot. now i have the roof repaired and the ceiling new, i wont let them up my roof again, if they want thier canopy, ill dismantle it myself.demn! smartbro sux! btw this is my spee

  8. i dont have conn for 2 days (sat morn till 8pm,) then sunday when i strated my pc no conn at all (customer service saying same all routine "chk this, ping this that, bal bla blah,tech team will come on monday bet 9am-1pm) its sunday now and my conn was back 6:45 pm.jeez... if they have problem with their BS why they dont just say it! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  9. about a week ago i called their customer support and they told me that there is nothing wrong with their base station, and they told me to isolate my pc (im using a router)and as usual, the "pls monitor ur connection for 24hrs" thing is all i get. after 30 mins (my wife doesnt know that i already called), my wife decided to call, problem is the one that talk to her SAID that there is a PROBLEM with the base station. funny how they ALWAYS say "we dont give wrong information" all the time, as if what they say is sacred and always true, yet repeatedly they made such remarks when we call
  10. 15 mins ago my wife called smartbro cs, told them about our veeeeryyyy slow connection... they told us to do this, do that, isolate this, which i already did a hundred times. now after 15 mins i call them back saying i did what they told me and they inform me now that there is something wrong with the base station or something. now it pisses me off having been goof by their personnel into doing things. they shudve told me that there is a problem firsthand. and another thing, i ask the cs whom i speaking and she told me that they are not allowed to give their id#. she only gave m

  12. hey rich_aled, during my first month with smartbro my conn speed was just like yours. i mean EVERYDAY i call them customer support (imagine everyday twice or thrice a day i place a call) then finally (after almost 1 month) a more experienced installer/troubleshooter came to my house. the original position of my canopy was almost to the center of my roof. there is a big tree on the left but its not blocking LOS. what the last team did was to move the canopy about 6 meters to the right, i said no problem if that will make my conn faster. its the same configuration..same base station, b
