We recently bought a new modem approximately 2 weeks ago That's what it USED to be. Now it's the 27kbs... It's a motorola surfboard SB2150. It worked completely fine, we registered it with Comcast,etc... We bought one because the 2 year old Rented RCA Modem decided to die on us randomly, so we bought this one. I'm in the BayArea.

"Diagnosis: May need help" Um... DEFINATELY needs help. At early afternoon, Pacific time (I'm in Cali XP), internet began to slowdown. Now it's gotten ALOT worse. Obviously. I think it's comcast. I used my other computers on the network and they are as well slow. I power cycled my modem. Didn't help. I have a friend who lives close to me, he is fine. Is ANYONE having an internet slowdown? <-- My internet speed

It seems our internet has always been a wee bit slower than most of the people I play online with... Anyone know any fixes? I already got that cablenut program,ccleaner,that thing that changes the regsitry connection limit from 10 - 50 (for windwos xp sp2) I don't know why it's so slow. I have norton anti-virus and Lavsoft Adware... So according to those progs, i'm good. I don't think I got loads of spyware hogging up my internet.
