I know when I first got the service it was great I usually did a test at least once a day & it was always good, but about a couple months later my speed went to crap in the middle of the morning so I had to call the tech support. They had some one come out & realign my dish because it was off just a little bit & it helped but a couple days later same old thing. I went through dish network not directly through Wild Blue so yea I've had a tech some out again & they didn't charge me since I've been a long time customer with them for over 10 years. But thats still not the point they need to upgrade there systems or something because now on the weekends I usually have problems with my speed. But I guess you get what you pay for, & I'm not paying for crap right now. Like every body else said I get good speeds until about 2 then it goes to crap until about 11 pm so yea fun fun. I'm trying to get Alltel, but I've already had them & I have a floating signal so yea I need to get a amp or a grid antenna but all in good time, then I can drop Wild Blue for ever hopefully. & our Alltel in southern il didn't get bought out by verizon so yea until they get bought out then they are still gonna be Alltel.

Yea well I have to wait till the end of the year with them, I'm still under contract even tho I've had nothing but problems with them all the time & they try to blame it on my pc which is like 2 years old, but I'll just have to suffer for a little while longer one of our local wireless companys is bring out wireless internet & it's hella fast my cousins boy friends mom has it & it's hella fast & always there when u need it even when it rains, unlike sat hopefully it will be here soon cuz as soon as they get it out here then I'll be happy. hopefully it wont be to much longer then they will get it out here cuz I called like 2 months ago & they said they were working on it out here, cuz the rest of the area is all ready on it & were just waiting for us now.

Well I called Alltel about getting internet through them gave them all my info & then he said I'm kinda in a in and out place, where the signal comes & goes @ times, So I'm kinda afraid 2 go through them if it isn't going to be any worth having for $59.99 a month, which is cheaper then what I'm paying now, but if it's about as reliable as the Sat then yea I would be better to stay with the sat, I know I can't get cell phone service through Sprint, but I can Verizon, so I don't know if that will help me or not, but doesn't verizon have the EVDO, I'll just have to call & find out 2 day some time gotta get some sleep just got off work,

Yea I've had my cell phone for over 3 years through Alltel & I get a good signal in my house, but I don't know if they offer any thing for internet & I can get ATT Cell Phone 2, I called & asked them about it. But I called ATT & they told me that there is nothing else they can offer me then the Satellite Internet, which I was like ok, I even asked about T1, I know it's expensive but I still asked them about it & I chatted with a kid sounded like, & he told me that hes never even heard of T1 & that they don't offer T1 any more. I was like ok, but he also told me that they are trying to get every body eithor DSL or Fiber, but I've been waiting for 6 years I've called, & called & called for about 6 years now, & they finally told me that they are starting to work to get us out here in the sticks some sort of high speed. Hopefully they wern't just telling me that.

I wish I could get any thing else but Satellite is the only thing in my area, I've been trying to get DSL but I live out in the sticks, as every one calles it. I've been trying to get DSL or Wirelss or any thing for that matter better then dial up & better then Satellite, but no can do, I can get T1 But thats not cheap, for the lowest price Its over 200 dollars a month & I'm just like yea right ok. But I'm hopeing that we'll get something out here soon, hopefully ne ways.

Yea I have the highest package, becuase of the speed & the Fap thats the only reason I went throught the highest package, but I called them yet again & they offerend me to down grade to the medium package, & that would lower my bill by 10 dollars & then my speed would be cut & my fap would be cut, I don't use all the usage that I have but it's still nice to have if I have to download a big program. But I'm about to call them again cuz they said it would be about a month & my speed hasen't went back up yet they told me that it could take a week to a month to get the last time I talked with them they said something about there gateway is down, so IDK if that has any thing to do with it or not. I understand where you comming from I've had my system since Sept last year, didn't have any problems with it @ all for the first couple months November comes my modem goes out I call them they send me a new one, I'm through Dish Network 2. Then about the middle of December comes I noticed my speed wasen't running as fast as it used to be, I was always hitting 1500 & higher nothing lower then that & my up load was usually about 200 which is not bad, but as soon as December come I haven't been getting any thing over 1200 kbs, which I called them & asked them what was going on I also got a long winded Tech & he told me that there is something wrong on their end not on my end my stuff is working great so it's with them, IDK how many people have been complaining about this but I sure have been, & then to top it all off we got billed for the Sat Modem that we sent back they said they had no record that we sent it back, after about a hour on the phone telling them that I sent it back the same day I got it they finally gave in & put the credit on my account.
