i am having the same trouble i was getting speeds of 500kbps on laptop...then reformatted now i get about 63 kbps....my desktop downloads normal speeds....i would like help with this too

i am paying for dsl 768/256 download/ upload speed when i go t o download something say from download.com it downloads at 80kbs ......is this right or should it be higher? do i need to contact my provider and have them fix it?
