i have a road runner premium account, atleast that im aware of, being we pay for the package of dtv and cable for like 65 bucks and i think that was the premium. Anyway theres days where my upload barely pushes 40 - 45kbs. I have a wirless modem/router. Its the ambit modem with the built in router capabilities. Now i was wondering what cablenut tweaks would be the best for this. i can connect via ethernet to the modem or wireless if that would make a difference, but being the laptop is new it has a wireless g with b capabilities and can definately support the road runner speeds. my pc is currently one of the ones connected to the router portion and not the "main" pc that the connection goes through, however that should change within the week due to my brother moving out, and i assume that might speed it up a bit for me also. i'll post speed test results for my up and down after i reboot my pc, its been up for a while hehe.

i have premium because i also have the dtv package the nice thing about premium is the download...its noticebly faster...however i still upload at 45-50kbp/s which is total crap. i'll add my speed ratings to this after im done hogging all my pc resources on some other stuff and can get a good reading.
