I have HughesNet Basic package. Weather is clear. Dish on a pole pointing at clear sky. I always get a dismal upload speed. I've only been on Sat. for just over a week and I'm on the HN9000 modem. If anyone has suggestions on improving UL/DL speeds, I'm all ears. However, having just spent three years on dialup, I can deal with these speeds....with pleasure. Sad but true.
