I had free cable for 4 years lol with comcast. There was something wrong with my neighbor's cable and they had a tech come out and fix it, I guess he fixed me free cable for 4 years.

Thats what i thought they will do. Add it to his bill, but thats not the case he subscribes to the Gold package with HDTV and everything and gets billed $67 bucks for it. NOthing about an Internet charge at all.

I was at my brother's house last night and asked him how much he was paying for his internet, he said that all he did was plug in a cable modem he purchased from bestbuy and hooked it up. He called comcast to get subscribed, while he was on hold he started getting acitivity on his modem so he shut the phone and has had the fastest speeds comcast offer. He hasnt been send a bill in 3 months. He subscribes to Comcast cable but no internet. Whats up with that?

i think it was 23Mbps. maybe 22 but somewhere around there with hardwire.

I am having trouble with one of my laptops, it is about a 1 1/2 years old but in great working condition. ONLY one problem, it stopped detected the wireless card that i have for it. It doe not respond to it anymore. I used 2 other wireless cards in the slot and still no luck. Does this mean that the slot itself is damaged? the cards work perfectly with other laptops. and if it is damaged, do i have to replace the whole motherboard to get wireless internet on my notebook? thanks!

i used the wireless internet and the hardwire connectio and still no luck. The funny thing is that my wireless says thats i'm connected to my network and i have an excellent connection

I bought a Hp notebook from some guy having a moving sale and everything was still brand new in the box. I hooked it up to the internet and registered with microsoft and when i was finishing up HP registeration my internet stopped working. I cant even get on the dial up anymore. I tried 3 of my friends house and still doesnt work? What the hell happened? Ive tried everything. My buddy told me that hp could have gotten the mac address and maybe the notebook was stolen???? IIIIIIIIII DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!@

i called Comcast and they said that the upgrade for my area is not available until tomorrow.
