Hey all, i've just moved into a new student house, with an NTL cable point in each bedroom. One of my housemates has his connection working fine, (im using it to send this SOS), but mine wont work even tho im using the same hardware.
i tried 3 different routers, 2 different cables.
my Pc (windows xp) says its connected at 100mbps, but the internet will not work.
After following some advice on another site, i went to the router's page, (193.168.100.1 i think) and it tells me i have a sync error (84000100) which makes sense because the sync light is going mad.
any ideas?
