Hi, does anyone know of a way or program that will allow you to receive send information on a certain port, but not receive it? Like is there anyway to block incoming packets on a certain port or Ip address? Thanks!

yea i have to agree w/ roco although im not a computer genius and dont claim to be, i can tell u i currently have a single core processer a Intel Celeron 2.4ghz w/ 1 gig memory, and my wife can have like 6 facebook pages open at one, and their filled with alot of pictues.....and it seems to work fine, so i cant imagine a dual core, just doesnt make sence....id format my hard drive and maybe invest in some more memory, just my 2 cents......just a thought

Well i was going for that but i changed my mind.....i seen this system it had 2 gig ram with it (4 gig max) and all so i was thinkin about it........i been doin alot of reviews on the internet...and every1 seems to say the E3200 is very fast like it has surprised some people or somehthing.....i figure coming from a single core system i should notice alittle difference...im not a big gamin enthusiast, thats why i have xbox live, so i dont need a quad core or i7 or what not....but i also want something thats speedy and wont bog my system if i have 8 tabs open in my browser and will open programs at a click........thanks!

Can any1 tell me if this is a good cpu like for streaming video off the ineternet, and everyday computing? Is it fast? I have a single core now and considerin upgrading to this? Also is the ntegrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 a good video card? Thanks!

OK im lookin into gettin a new computer.....but which is faster a Phenom X4 9550 2.2GHz w/6 gig ram or a Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.66GHz w/4 gig ram or the Pentium Dual-Core E5300 2.6GHz w/ 1GB ram.......Im kinda confused i done some research and i think the Phenom x4 is the best, i want to be able to multitask and my computer be fast........I had the x4 w/ 6gig ram offered for 400 dollars to me w/o moniter but i has a NVIDIA GeForce 9300 GE 256MB HDMI/DVI video card and Vista with 50gb hardrive.......mouse and keyboard.......sounds like a deal to me what do u guys think? ok i got a newbie question, i live 100 miles from my dad and i have very fast internet, if fact its alot faster than i will ever use........How could he connect up and use my internet connection, kinda like a router only with no wires and no wireless......i know it be some sort of server? How would i do it...Thanks in Advance!

Make sure your using Internet Explorer 7 or 8 to get a true speed test and that no programs are running ine background...I learnt the hard way after alot of trial and error.

hi, i was thinking about getting windows 7 just wanted to get some feedback on it, i know there were alot of mixed feelings about Vista. Also weres a good cheap place on the internet to buy a computer (i got a flatscreen, so i just need the tower) i looked at dell but they seem like alot of markup...Any thoughts are appreciated.....Thanks!

Actually its Suddenlink 20 meg service but since my wife works for umm we get ours uncapped.....They just got the new Docsis 3 network up and running so we jumped on it.....Its alittle extreme for home internet But when its free who cares hahaha When u say tweak your settings do you mean RWIN? Thanks!  Oh yea has any noticed that u dont get a true speed reading out of google chrom or mozilla, i had this problem when i run a speed test on internet explorer it testes out like 30 to 35 meg but when on google chrom its only around 17 meg i took me awhile to figure this out, i was always pissed at he internet for ripping me off HAHA Any1 know why this is? Thanks!
