i have windows 7 x64 ultimate and it wouldn't for me at all (cablenut ver.)

is there anyway i can improve the latency on my end i usually have decent down speed usually around 1.5 Mb but my upload although advertised at .5 Mb never reaches more than 110 Kb. thanks for the response

how do i get the dos box to stay up long enough for a screen shot. the test was four packets. min 1390 ms, max 2085 ms, avg. 1618ms

has anyone here ever used google talk. it has a phone call option that supposedly will work even with dialup. i have the old wild blue blues but on my last upload test i was getting 3 times dialup speed.i can make the call and the party will answer i hear them fine but they cant hear me ive checked my mike and it works when i record and it shows to be working on google talk's test . can anyone verify that they have used it successfully . any help greatly appreciated.

.this is a better than normal test still below what i pay for as i have the platinum package which is supposed to be 1.5 Mb down and .5Mb up

I have two toshiba laptops (not my a505), I am trying to take ram from the one and supe the other up. The one is PC2-4200s-444-12 and PC2-6400s-666-12...I am almost positive it won't work but would like to know. If it DON'T work can someone link me or explain how to tell if one ram will work in the other?? Thanks a lot...I am sorry people I know I am a pain in the ass on these forums!

i also forgot to add, by looking at the two the pins match....But I don't wanna be blowing anything up.

if they are both ddr 2 it should work but be advised it will only work at the lower speed as it is backward compatable

hey im in central texas extreme sticks. here its wild blue or hughs net

when i hooked up hughs was full so all i had was wild blue as far as speed i might ge what i pay for once or twice a week the rest of the time its around 650 to 750 Kb which is about 80 to 90 KB a second

the only other choice is dial up as i have no cell signal if i want to use my cell phone i have to either drive about a mile or climb up on the roof but i love my computers and what good are they without the net.

to answer your question no and i dont think anyone gets advertised speed. the other is th FAP im only allowed 17 gb of data on a rolling 30 day scale and thats with the platinum package thanks for letting me vent
