it was announced verbally during the election campaign, so its probably worthless. but the thought of such speeds is awesome. hopefully it goes ahead.

If Labor are permitted to form government in Australia, they are going to roll out a National Broadband Network, which includes fibre right to the door of every home in Australia. What can i expect from this? Before the election the quoted speed was 100Mbps, which magically rose to 1000Mbps during the election. Is this possible?
