  1. Upgraded to Shaw's High Speed Extreme-I today, for an extra 10 bucks a month. (Justifiable since my bills are split 5 ways with roommates). Using 6000/384 Cablenut settings, I'll poke around and see if I can do better.
  2. Really the only major thing that I use IE for is Windows Update. Other than that, it's FF all the way. Used to use Netscape all the time, but after I downloaded FF 1.0 I never looked back. Only thing I kinda miss is Netscape's "Quick Launch" feature of loading parts of the browser in ram on startup and even after closing for quicker launches. Kinda like what IE does all by itself.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions VanBuren! I tried those settings, and a few others, but it seems that my connection is happiest with the 5000/384 file. Here I was hoping to break the 4000 mark... The Slazz
