Thanks. After seeing some of the scores here I'm feeling a little slow.

I then replaced my Wireless B Linksys USB adapter and router. Replacing the Wireless B usb adapter alone gave me a boost of well over 3 mbps and once I replaced my router I've been getting connection speeds 5-6mbps which exactly as comcast advertises. I'm not sure why there was such a bottleneck in the wireless B connection even with the USB connection and 11mbps wireless B should have been more than enough to accomodate the speed but it didn't so if you have old linksys Wireless B equipment get rid of it and go with wireless G. I was lucky I still had my boxes and was able to do an even exchange at Walmart and it didn't cost me a penny more to upgrade.
