  1. Well quite well im not talking about a LTE connection like Cable Guy says, in talking on my desktop wich i use for video editing, I have a steady 40MbpsD and 2.5MbpsU Cable Connection, i download a HD movie in less than 10 minutes (awesome), but i dont really see a big difference just surfing the web, i do have some plug-ins and extension with Firefox, but seems there is a not so big difference in PLAIN BROWSING when i compare it to my old 8 Mbps Connection.
  2. Hi Friends, Not new to this forum but no post since more than 2 years. My Question. do you really feel a big difference while surfing with a 8Mbps and 40Mbps, obviosly downloanding and while on torrents its a really big difference, But just surfing?

  4. You should be able to find your Acers keyboard for around $12-15 bucks in Ebay
  5. Try creating a new firefox profile, your new profile will start up with defaults, my recomendation before tweaking firefox its to back up your profile using FEBE,

  8. Hi Folks, I have an acer 5100, with Vista pre-installed, have the same problem, it doesn't look for a different power profile while in battery power, though i can easily switch profiles manually. --rammolo

  13. I usually get good speeds during daytime, it goes to a crawl in nights, but never as low as those posted speeds. --Rammolo
  14. Hi folks, If you are running Vista with 2 Gigs you wont really note a difference unless you run memory hunger applications as Gaming, even cad applications will run sweet with just 1 gig, if you really see some difference with readyboost, with 2 gigs then you have a problem.
  15. I prefer speedtest.net. like the GUI of the site, results are about the same in both sites.
