I got my girl a Pink acer aspire netbook for a good price but the battery was bad and the Pg Up Home key is broke. I found the battery replacement for pretty cheap on eBay but I did a Google for the missing key and found a few sites. But none direct me to the actual key. If someone could PLZ PLZ help me find the white Pg Up replacement key I would appreciate it. I want this laptop looking nice for my girl.
You should be able to find your Acers keyboard for around $12-15 bucks in Ebay

Hi Folks,
I have an acer 5100, with Vista pre-installed, have the same problem, it doesn't look for a different power profile while in battery power, though i can easily switch profiles manually.

Hi folks,
If you are running Vista with 2 Gigs you wont really note a difference unless you run memory hunger applications as Gaming, even cad applications will run sweet with just 1 gig, if you really see some difference with readyboost, with 2 gigs then you have a problem.

I prefer speedtest.net. like the GUI of the site, results are about the same in both sites.

You should know that all those phone providers use EVDO "evolution data optimized" its signal is transmitted from their cell towers, and they claim a maximum of 2.4 Mb, which is good, but just as craplink and any service provider, speeds are never guaranteed. usually with a good signal you will have an overall of 800Kb, thats really crappy. Usually service are bout 50 bucks a month and require contract, the good side is that it usually includes roaming.

Well quite well im not talking about a LTE connection like Cable Guy says, in talking on my desktop wich i use for video editing, I have a steady 40MbpsD and 2.5MbpsU Cable Connection, i download a HD movie in less than 10 minutes (awesome), but i dont really see a big difference just surfing the web, i do have some plug-ins and extension with Firefox, but seems there is a not so big difference in PLAIN BROWSING when i compare it to my old 8 Mbps Connection.
