Hmmm looks cached to me. Considering the highest packages are the business at 1.5mb/1.5mb and the radios can only handle 3mb of throughput?

Well I have 0 packet loss on line quality tests with my WISP and I can play PC games online with pings as low as 6-10ms to chicago and I'm in Michigan. My old Xbox did the same exact thing it was laggy as hell up around 100ms with some packet loss. On my new 360 the online play is excellent with super low pings. Beyond me. I don't think it's always the ISP's fault

That's a HUGE cap reduction. 20GB's less sucks for the same price.. RUN FAR! FAR AWAY! I don't know anything about the UK area or the Broadband there... but that just isn't fair. Sounds like they're pretty rude about it also.. Broadband Nazi's.

My friend has some dedicated line to his house. It's not a T1 but it's nice 100% reliable and he gets the exact up/down speeds he pays for. He changed a few settings like MTU and all that to achieve his speeds, but I noticed he changed from half duplex to full duplex mode. Does that make a difference? How do I know what mine should be at? I don't want to change it and screw something up, but I can't help but be curious

I disagree. Because a murderer writes children's books doesn't make he a born again saint. It doesn't right any wrongs, it doesn't give the families of the victims any sense of closure or safety. There's corrections officers who were threatened by him time and time again. He threatened their lives and their families. I believe them 100% over a convicted murderer anyday. I do agree prison is a reform for criminals and lost souls. But there has to a limit there. Murders or extreme violence is one of them. NOBODY can judge whether that person is still sick or not. Pedophiles prove this point accurately that you absolutely cannot trust someone who you think is cured. They are let out day after day and the repeat offenders is astronomical. The actual package I pay for states " Up to 1mb Down, up to 256kb Up". My installation was a new step for them a long line of site application from tower to tower so he said he'd give me a full time 1mb/400 connection. I've always had much higher than that, and after my tweaking my setup this is what I get... They are only at 20% capacity of their backbones/networks capability at peak hours also, so I don't see these speeds changing for a long long time

I was getting about 1200/480.. After some tweaking with cable loss issues (replaced LMR400 with LMR600) and adjusting the aim of my antenna im now getting: For living in the middle of absolutely no where and pinging sub 20ms to basically every east/midwest gaming servers and sub 50ms to the west coast I cannot be happier especially for $39 a month and no bandwidth limit

I have my wireless @ 1400/850 $39.95 And DirecWay averaging @ 1000/25 $59.99 (All done with direcway after December is up) And I have free dialup for backup.. Free

If the vanburne links didn't help you're probably out of luck. Hard to deicpher what you said/meant above.. 2mb down/ 256k up package? If so you're pretty close to that..

I get about 1300 down/ 700 up at all times. My ping on an idle connection (on but not i use) I ping very low.. But I notice if I move a steady amount up/down like gaming for over 10 mins I get ping spikes up into 200-500 basically making anything latency intensive.. online gaming/video conference/ VOIP nearly impossible to use. In the early AM it clears up again.. it works fine during the day until about 3pm and then it spikes all night until about midnight. I originally figured it was a bandwidth problem, but they service schools/businesses on the same backbone and claim the peak usage is during 8-3pm. I have no problems then it's always after from 3-12. They cannot figure out why it spikes and neither can I. When I D/L during these times the pings are horrible for the duration of the download.. I can be d/l at 10kb's or 180kb's it doesnt matter, the lag is about 300ms average and stays there. Any ideas? No packet loss.. I traced the problem to start 5 hops from me so I know it isn't my system. They said no one else is experiencing problems on the network only me..
