That's about average, I'm on G4R 1350 in the KC Mo area and have a high of 63 sig strength.

If you check the specs, you'll find that you can't use ddr and sdr at the same time, one or the other. I know, I have both slots on my puter.

Consumer Fap refreshes at approx 40Kbps For a full refresh from 169MB will be around 8hr. That's just an approxamation.
-
Those speeds are GREAT for a DW6000CE

Go to badgehelp.com for pogo for the trials........I don't know of any free ones.
-
None at all, that is about all you can expect from the 4000.......don't upgrade! your downloads will be capped at 1000. I assume that you are on the CE plan. Those are very goods speeds both up and down.

I think your best bet would be window blinds......it uses 2,240k on my system...barely notice it.

Yeah, that's about 1megabyte per sec, not 1megaBIT per sec....quite a dif....that's pretty fast.
-
Sounds like you got the software upgrade......check out this forum there may be some help here.
-
Ok, to answer your questions, I used the Linksys adapter they sent me, hooked it up straight to my Satellite modem then to my phones. Wasn't routed through my puter so I didn't have to worry about ports. Because it wasn't routed through the puter there were no firewalls on it.
-
No, I had it for all of one day and it worked fine as far as calling went.......I am on satellite and the ping was just way too high.
-
You should call the Vonage help line.

You can't go into the regular aol chat rooms with aim........just the free aim chats.
-
Your uploads will never be high.....avg is around 25kbps up with bursts up to 80kbps or so.....Direcway uploads just suck.
-
Bought it Saturday, finished it Saturday night........good book, you'll be suprised at the ending.
-
Sure sounds like WISP to me.

I recently changed from a consumer account to the consumer pro. When you change transponders, you also get a new site ID and you have to reregister your MyDirecway and your E-mail accounts. I have found that you can reuse the same names that you were using before......

I use Opra proxied and get the most stable connection and I have pretty much ALL the free browsers out there from Avant to Netscape.........Gotta love that Opra.......lol

Had my system for 5 years now, from dial return to the 6000. It ain't the Autobahn speeds that I've seen in here but I consider it decent.
