Im north of Boston and seem to have pretty good connections. Ive noticed that on the speakeasy tests they seem to be a little more consistent, for me anyways. Is there something im doing wrong. yes, i tried entering 1500...no changes.. does anyone have any ideas as to why my mtu number will not change from 1372? ive tried disconnecting from router, thought that was the issue, but nothing. Is there a way i can just edit/add directly in registry?

nothing i do seems to change these factors.. MTU = 1372 MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput. MSS = 1332 MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.
