For the past 15 years I have always used an air compressor...  60 gallons @ 175PSI set to 80 on the hose, never once has static been an issue.  I also don't bother with a dryer on the line, and yeah, I see moisture come out on short bursts, never once has it been an issue for me though I don't have droplets of water come out either. You are more liable to see static issues on plastic hose attachments with a vacuum cleaner and the attachment being that close to the machine for it to suck any decent amounts of dust away.  Chances of static jumping from the air in a compressor hose to your machine when you have the air tool ~24 inches away is pretty much non-existent.

What is bad is having the pressure too high when you are too close to the machine with the tool, and when you let the fans spin freely.  Gonna blow SMD's off or cook a bearing real fast.

I am rather enjoying (more like love) the "Dark Mode" but think that the "Light Mode" should be default...  Not everyone likes their first time at a website being all dark and gloomy.

My reason for dark mode?  When I have several computers all on and connected each doing tests through different outgoing gateways on the automated test... I tend to sit down and watch a movie, and white light can get annoying, but a darker screen makes it easy to keep an eye on those tests and enjoy my tv.

Testmy.net is not detecting IPv6 address correctly. Disabling IPv6 fixes this issue.

If your using the MaxMind DB there are different databases for IPv4 and IPv6 depending on how you have them stored on your end.

Regarding the IP thing: @CA3LE if I recall correctly, the SQUID proxy they mention utilizes the `X-Forwarded-For` header, are you perhaps checking that as well?

I know I had a similar issue with an Enterprise software application that was logging IP addresses, so I began logging the TCP/IP address and the X-Forwarded-For, as I was getting bizarre results similarly to what you are getting here.

I know, for a fact, that the 224.0.0.0/4 address space is Class-D (multicast) so no user should actually have that address, and 240.0.0.0/4 should be Class-E, and that's usually experimental / R&D.

Arin is being slow so while I'm looking into these additional details:

@C0RR0SIVE: The 250.x.x.x address is part of the experimental space, AFAIK (unless any new RFC's are out) it's used by R&D and for experimental use only.

So Arin finally loaded, and I'll give you guys the public URL: https://whois.arin.net/rest/net/NET-240-0-0-0-0/

As I thought, this is still in the "special use" range, which should be mostly non-routed (though I don't think there are any bars against routing these addresses, it's just not common).

    Thanks,
    EBrown
