XP-SP2 DW6000-Aopen Router-ZoneAlarm firewall. Everything is working fine but I have been reading the manual on router. It speaks about a internal firewall. and changing the IP address. I do not have a clue what all the settings and acronyms ,s mean. DO I NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING OR LEAVE AS IS. Am I properly protecting my 2 computers. Plus where might I find reading to explain how all this works and what the different settings do. I have a d/l speed from 750 to 1100 depending I guess on how busy the net is at a given time. I suppose if it ain't broke don't fix it applies here but I really want to understand how it all works. Thanks Dick

I have 2 computers configured differently for the purpose of testing. Both are behind a Aopen AOR401M ROUTER One has in the exceptions box nothing. the other has direcwaysupport.com;192.168.0.1--I also read something about if using a router you needed to change this to your IP address but with the address last digit changing due to a static address what would you use if anything? thanks for help, Dick
