am behind router, havent used cablenut not sure what CCS is and have no router update. only increased RWIN to 131400.

ran virus scan ad ware scan and cleared temp & hist.

and used some windows tweaks to stop stuff like sound and someother stuff from running in background changed global sixe in registry.

have RR (nc.rr.com) winxp home networkeverywhere Wireless-B (wired not wireless use) NWR11B Router and Motorola SBV4200 VOIP Modem. hope this helps? :confused1:

I am not clear on why you are using a router?  If I understand your setup, your modem is connected to your router and your router is connected to your computer via cables? 

I apologize for the seemingly simple questions I am just trying to see the layout in my mind.

P.S. Do you know what values you have for your upstream and downstream power levels?  They are located in your Modem's web page which might be accessed by typing 192.168.100.1 into your borwser's address bar.
