FallowEarth Posted December 30, 2005 CID Share Posted December 30, 2005 I'm looking for help in recovering a deleted account (mailbox) in Mac OS X (any version). Basically what happens when you delete an account in iMail (or mail.app, if you prefer) is that, unlike a deleted identity in Outlook Express, all the contents of the respective inbox magically evaporate, nowhere to be found anywhere on the hard drive for recovery. I could not find any useful articles on this, via Apple support or elsewhere. However, I refuse to believe that there is no way to restore these lost messages. I have heard tell that there is a terminal script fix for this, but Apple keeps such things under lock and key. Can anyone help me? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
