Im switching to a new internet because my provider isnt providing good speeds for a 10/1.

Download Speed is:: 311 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 45X faster than 56K 1MB download in 3.29 sec

Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 21.32 % faster than the average for host (dccnet.com)

I am switching to www.telus.net for a 1.5/512 connection. My friend has it and its usually at full speed. The guy is gonna switch it on Jan 5. I still have time. Should I switch or not??

You really can't you just go by whatever packages your isp assigns to you all's modems,, Realistically a cable modem could get up to 38Mb/second but not where I live,, and I doubt anywhere else that would mean forfeiting some cable channels.. Anyway Call isp and ask to see if they have a higher speed package...
