Yeah but she is USB, no?  Are you able to connect via ethernet to your PC (the one we've been tweaking), reset the modem, and perform another trace and speedtest?

I dont think she using USB anymore, and i couldnt connect via ehternet to my PC because my PC only have Wireless Net Work Connection, no VIA fast Ethernet.  Also I have done the p2p patching allready, i limit it at 50 and my upload speed went up to 40 MBPs but I just realize that it just a mess up. so I tried again and nothing change. Even i allready use the p2p patcher !!  :cry:

Any1 have any idea what VanBuren's cablenut should i use ?

Im trying verion 7 right now. As FallowEarth said that my internet MIGHT be 3/768,

so i tried it and now the result :

:::.. Download Stats ..:::

Connection is:: 1557 Kbps about 1.6 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB)

Download Speed is:: 190 kB/s

Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2)

Test Time:: Tue Jan 10 2006 18:44:35 GMT-0800 (Pacific Standard Time)

Bottom Line:: 28X faster than 56K 1MB download in 5.39 sec

Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 32.9 % of your hosts average (verizon.net)

Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-TUDE8V501

Its seems to be better is it ? But  i wish i could make it become over 90% running of my host average. But its seems to be impossible for wireless, not even 50% i think.  :cry:

Look what i got, by VanBuren's version 7 3/768 Cablenuts with signal strength of 83%

Bottom Line:: 28X faster than 56K 1MB download in 5.39 sec

Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 32.81 % of your hosts average (verizon.net)

Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-LNPHGYTOK

:::.. Upload Stats ..:::

Connection is:: 389 Kbps about 0.4 Mbps (tested with 579 kB)

Upload Speed is:: 47 kB/s

Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server1)

Test Time:: Tue Jan 10 2006 18:52:46 GMT-0800 (Pacific Standard Time)

Isnt it weird ?? I just notice this. Upload speed is running only at 61.55% while Download speed is only at 32% , y wouldnt both of them be the same ?!

Because it's the average of everyone that has tested from your ISP not percentage of your advertised speed. ISPs offer a range of different speeds. Verizon for instance has speeds ranging from 256/128 kbps for DSL Lite all the way up to 30/5 mbps for a full blown FIOS connection. you will never reach 100% in both unless you have FIOS.

so I'm getting a rip-off internet here then, 50$ a month for only 1.5/350

Not necessarily. have you checked the speed from the other computers in the network?  especially those connected via ethernet. And remember DSL speed is determined by distance from the CO and very few actually get the advertised speed you would have to live right next door to the CO to get a 3000 kbps connection on a 3000 kbps line. I'm betting if you run wired to the router You will see a huge increase in speed though.

Ok, Hi

the result is 11960 feet, also I have ask THE ONE who really paid for this internet.

He said that we were using verizon company for phone, and else.

He said that Verizon have a techonology that make phone and internet access in 1 phone line.

He also said that we need comfortable at first, even tho we pay a little bit more.

Is this could be the reasons ? Its easier to doing stuff but its speed is 1.5/384

At that distance from your CO you're doing very good to be getting 1500 kbps from a 3000 kbps line. as it would take being within 100 ft of the CO to get the full 3000. Everything looks fine... blame the "slowness" of yoru connection on the fact you are almost out of range for your connection. DSL is only good at a maximum of 15,000 ft from the CO.
