Any ideas about how I can speed this up? Usually get at least 600 (when we first got sat it was 1000/1200) This is pathetic!!!

The thing about direcway is the data buckets...i believe it is about 145 mb or so..once you reach that amount you must not use your connection for at least 24 hours. This allows the gata buckets to be recharged. You can also try speedguide.net..there are some web tweaks there that should speed it up some. Also call tech support for direcway and get connected with advanced support..they gave me some wonderful registry tweaks that allowed me speeds of almost 2000Kbps.

I've been with Starband for the last 3 years and never had sppeds below 500kbps.

This past weekend installed Direcway and speeds for download are posted below. Runnin windows xp2, 2.6 ghz processor,1 gig of memory hyperthreading, downloaded and installed LCCU andfollowed all the other instructions these guys have told me to make. Performance still is real SLOW. Pointed at the SM5 and signal strength is 74 clear skys hear. Been reound and round with support. Any help will be appreciated.

DOn't think I'm getting what I'm paying for.
