Dark_Matter 1 Report post · CID: 64515159725 Posted January 19, 2006 DRM (Digital Rights Mangement) alot of places use DRM in the wma format to prevent the user from burning them to disk, and also when the person has a right to burn it there is usually a limit to how many times you can do so. Other than DRM WMA format is awesome when relating to sound quality, but i'm going to have to stick with the classic .mp3.

FGOKURULES 5 Report post · CID: 6160250509101 Posted January 19, 2006 a Audio CD that was recorded in 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound in wav format would fit nicely on a DVD+r or DVD-r for all you liberals about format,, and would have prestine audio,, of course you would need a converter/decoder to play it on something other than your computer
peepnklown 3 Report post · CID: 64524529060 Posted January 19, 2006 Depends, WAV for the best possible output, samples, my own produced music and I like MP3, OGG, FLAC so far for my compressed music needs or album music.
project51 0 Report post · CID: 19277450835059 Posted January 19, 2006 People Pure WAV files,, I know they are huge but no sound quality lost at all,,, When you need all of your audio,, even the noise our ears can't hear, this is the way to go... WAV is too big. That's what lossless is for (no lost at all) though it takes lot of resources to use. eg WMA, mp3 lossless... etc.

Bird Fan 0 Report post · CID: 6345150900 Posted January 22, 2006 I've never noticed a difference in AAC files and MP3 192 files... AAC files are a lot smaller in size, so that's better for ipods and such.
