Hey guys I'm not sure if I'm allowed to start a new topic but I have a question..

I have a 2wire router and Noticed sometimes says Protocol:  ANSI (T1.413)

someothers say Protocol G.DMT, can anyone tell me what this Protocols means and wich is the best?

Not a problem..  The ASNI standard is a standard for ADSL from the Telco to the customer..

The ITU G 992.1 which is what the G.DMT offical standard number is.. basically outlines how to increase the speed of the service by mutiplexing.  This standard would allow for a max of 8Mbps down and 1 Mbps up..

BTW welcome to the forum!
