sunshineldy Posted January 30, 2006 CID Share Posted January 30, 2006 hello. been hearing about the verizon plans and having dial-up its time to move up in the world. we signed up for the freedom essentials pkg. right now our town has not approved the fios tv, so we are getting direct tv - but we will have fios internet. for phone, tv and internet we got an extremely great deal. i hope it lives up to all i am reading about it. have you folks had good experiences with verizon pkg's? jfarrell Posted January 30, 2006 CID Share Posted January 30, 2006 I don't think you will see Verizon in Fort Collins considering Comcast's franchise covers the Fort Collins area and US Cable's Warpdrive high speed internet covers the surround areas. In Fort Collins you have the choice of cable modem service from a cable provider, Direct Way, or Qwest DSL service that is resold by numerous retailers in the area.
